Prof. Dr. Armin Bolz becomes Entourage's first medical technology advisor.
Management and HR consultancy Entourage is pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Armin Bolz, the first advisory board member from the medical technology sector, as of 1 January 2020.
The doctor of physics has more than 30 years of experience in medical technology. In 1999, he accepted the appointment as Professor for Biomedical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From 1999 to 2001, he was Chairman of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering.

Prof. Dr. Armin Bolz studied physics and completed his doctorate and habilitation at the University of Erlangen on physical issues in implant development. His research results led to novel coating technologies, which he implemented as a businessman in 1991. Today, these are still used worldwide in the production of stents and pacemakers. From 1995-1999, Mr Bolz was employed as head of development at Biotronik. In 1999, he accepted the appointment as Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From 1999 to 2001 he was Chairman of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering, and in 2001 also a member of the VDE Board. In 2001, he founded CORSCIENCE GmbH & Co KG, which he managed very successfully until the end of 2016.
